About me

I studied Naturopathy and Medical Herbalism at Wellpark College of Natural Therapies, graduating in 2003.  I have always been interested in natural health since a young age and was fortunate to grow up in an open minded family that preferred to use natural remedies where possible.

When I left high school I decided to study natural therapies but was told I was too young and to come back in a couple of years so in the meantime I immersed myself in office work. Two years turned into ten and although I had worked my way up the corporate ladder I still felt incomplete and wondered where to from here?

I spent an entire year trying to figure out what my purpose in life was and how I could contribute to society and really help people which was always my desire. It was then I remembered what it was I really wanted to do. I went along to an open evening at Wellpark College and as they went through the course for Naturopathy and Medical Herbalism I was delighted that there was a name for what I wanted to do and I wasted little time enrolling myself into full-time study for the next three years leaving my full-time corporate job behind and I've never looked back!

I have always had a special interest in fertility and women's health so I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study under Yvonne Guttang at the Waikato College of Herbal Medicine and gain an Advanced Certificate in Fertility and Reproductive health in 2006. As well as seeing couples for fertility issues I also enjoy continuing my general practice.
